Albuquerque, NM - The Albuquerque chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is hosting their annual Out of the Darkness suicide awareness walk in honor of suicide awareness month. This week, Attorney General Hector Balderas announced that his office will participate in the walk in Albuquerque. Suicide is the second leading cause of death for adolescents and New Mexico currently ranks fifth in the nation for suicide.
