Aztec, NM - Attorney General Hector Balderas and Four Corners, Navajo Nation and New Mexico Environment Department officials will hold a press conference on Tuesday, October 25th to urge residents who have been impacted by the Gold King Mine Spill to meet with New Mexico’s legal team. During the press conference, Attorney General Balderas will give an update on the current situation and share information with the community about further potential legal steps to be taken to make New Mexico and Four Corners residents whole after the devastating spill. After the press conference, special counsel will be available at the San Juan County Government Center throughout the afternoon and from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday to meet with the local community and hear their stories.
