Santa Fe, NM – Today, Attorney General Hector Balderas and Human Services Department Secretary Brent Earnest issued a joint Scam Alert to warn New Mexicans about a new scam that involves callers claiming to work for the New Mexico Medicaid program while phishing for personal and financial information. The solicitors are calling individuals several times a day and asking for their name, Social Security Number, and Medicaid number.
