Albuquerque, NM – Today, Attorney General Hector Balderas and Second Judicial District Attorney Rául Torrez announced that Lloyd Aguilar was sentenced this week to 20 years in prison followed by 8 years of supervised probation for robbing a mother and her three children at gunpoint in a Smith’s parking lot on the Westside of Albuquerque. Aguilar was convicted by a Bernalillo County jury on March 17, 2017 after a weeklong trial. The case was jointly prosecuted by the Office of the New Mexico Attorney General and Second Judicial District Attorney’s Office.
