Los Alamos, NM – Today, Attorney General Hector Balderas announced that David Rael was sentenced to nine years in prison for three counts of Sexual Exploitation of Children (Manufacture), one count of Sexual Exploitation of Children (Distribution), and one count of Sexual Exploitation of Children (Possession). Rael was found guilty at trial on June 14, 2017 before the Honorable Mary Marlowe Sommer in First Judicial District Court. Rael committed his crimes in 2013 in Los Alamos County.
