Albuquerque, NM – This morning, Attorney General Hector Balderas announced that the New Mexico Supreme Court agreed with the Office of the Attorney General and affirmed the convictions of Juan Galindo for the horrific rape and death of his 1-month-old daughter in 2011. Bernalillo County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the South Valley home to find the bludgeoned, deceased infant wrapped tightly in a blood-soaked blanket. In 2015, Galindo was found guilty of child abuse resulting in death, two counts of child rape, and one charge of child abuse for putting his 13-year-old daughter in danger.
