Albuquerque, NM - Today, Attorney General Hector Balderas and New Mexico Secretary of State Maggie Toulouse Oliver announced a partnership aimed at providing additional support to county clerks on Election Day to ensure proper conduct at polling locations around New Mexico. State law provides that upon the request of the Secretary of State, the Attorney General shall assign investigators or lawyers to aid the Secretary of State on Election Day to maintain consistency and uniformity.
