Interstate 57/U.S. Route 60 in Mississippi, New Madrid, Scott and Stoddard Counties will be reduced to one lane in each direction as contractor crews improve the driving surface. This will be a moving operation.

This section of roadway is located between Route B in Bertrand, Missouri to Route 25 in Dexter, Missouri.

Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Sept. 13 and Tuesday, Sept. 14 and Tuesday, Sept. 21 through Thursday, Sept. 23 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

The work will include applying a high friction surface treatment. This process involves placing a thin layer of specially engineered, durable, high friction aggregate to the driving surface to improve traction.

The work zone will be marked with signs during this moving operation.  Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
