September 24, 2021 – Media representatives are invited to join Claude Joli-Coeur, Government Film Commissioner and Chairperson of the National Film Board of Canada; and Marie-Geneviève Mounier, Commissioner General for Canada, Expo 2020 Dubai, for the unveiling of the interactive installation TRACES.

This artistic installation will be featured at the Canada Pavilion on the Expo 2020 Dubai site in United Arab Emirates. Developed around the idea of the imminent disappearance of our landscapes and wildlife, this work raises awareness about the alteration of our ecosystems caused by climate change.

TRACES will be accessible to the public for the duration of the Expo 2020 Dubai: from October 1, 2021, to March 31, 2022.

Event: Virtual press conference
Date: Monday, September 27, 2021
Time: 10 am ET / 6 pm Dubai time
Notes:

  • Open coverage will be provided via livestreamed video to accredited media.
  • Media representatives should register with the National Film Board at communications@nfb.ca and log on no later than 9:45 am ET.
