SIKESTON—Route 51 in Stoddard County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform bridge maintenance.   

This section of roadway is located from County Road 494 to South Outer Road 60 near Fisk, Missouri.  

Weather permitting, work will take place Wednesday, July 20 and Thursday, July 21 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.  

The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
