Today, Administrator Power met with Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan and discussed the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Administrator Power offered condolences for the loss of life in the conflict and reiterated U.S. support for a sustainable peace agreement. Administrator Power reaffirmed USAID’s commitment to Armenia’s continued democratic development and prosperity. Administrator Power and Foreign Minister Mirzoyan also discussed USAID and Armenia’s ongoing partnership in combating corruption and investing in Armenian anti-corruption institutions.
