Two Children Die in North St. Louis County House Fire

ST. LOUIS, MO – October 11, 2026 (STL.News) Two children died, a third was critically injured, and a fourth was treated for smoke inhalation following a devastating house fire Friday night in north St. Louis County. The fire occurred October 9 in the 15600 block of Ninety Fourth Avenue, where emergency responders encountered a life-threatening situation involving multiple children. According to the St. Louis County Police Department and First Alert 4, police received a request to assist the Black Jack Fire Protection District at approximately 8:11 p.m. on Saturday, October 10. First responders found three children inside the residence.
