Kennedy (CVN 79), successfully recovering an F-35C Lightning II stealth fighter on a Gerald R. Ford-class aircraft carrier for the first time. The landmark landing occurred on October 13, 2026, during aircraft compatibility testing in the western Atlantic Ocean.
